I was most pleased by my celebrity look-alike list (yes, I have been bored enough to try this out). I worship Greta Garbo and her chunky sunglasses. Kate Winslet was sublime as a blue-haired minx in Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (I refuse to commend Titanic in her list of credits). Natalie Imbruglia had that very badass hit song (NO! Not "Torn" - I am talking about "Big Mistake").
I will definitely be wearing a Stephanie Seymour-style wedding gown like the one in the Guns and Roses video. Rawr.
And of course the flawless miss Scarlett O'Hara - Vivien Leigh! I am starstruck. She is my Allah.
The rest I am uncertain about. I don't think it's Avril under miss Leigh. I hope not. Urgh.
As avid readers of this journal extraordinaire, which I'm sure you all are, you've been subjected to one-too-many rants of mine in correlation to the craptastic mobile phone of wonders I possess and my lack of artistic ability. I remain adamantly unwilling to drop 800 DKR [$ 153.45] [€ 107.51] to have my Nokia designer beauty fixed, when my 1 year guarantee should have COVERED IT! (Don't make me go Michael Moore on your asses, Nokia. Only the nationality-bond keeps me from being too bitchy about it.)
Anyway, spent some quality time with 9-month-womb-provider today (my affectionate nickname for mommy) and decided to steal some of her paints to pimp up my ring-a-ding.
I think it turned out quite schnazzy. I give it about 2 days before it is ruined by all the inevitable scratches it will be subject to in my bag.
The Yule-tide season has passed and my liver is being flushed with gallons of water and I am overcome with the stereotypical "Omg I ate too much..." sensation. Overall the holidays have been quaint with fond memories to reflect upon. Not. (But the 'quaint' part is 100% valid)
I'm going to fill you in on some of the Nordic traditions when engaging in the Christmasesque affairs.
This household be chíc this Christmas. Out of sheer poverty (bedamned present shopping!) - and hiding behind the guise of wanting to be "unique" - the decorations for this holly-decked holiday consist of a runty branch found outside - glimmering with lights and pearlescent ornaments.
I think it turned out 'uber fab'! Something you'd see in some trendycafé or boutique.
Yay for low budgets! Now to celebrate with some glögg!
Just the other day I was introduced to SCADshorts:Pencil Face [+]. Can we say eerie? I was later reminded of a chewing toy my mom's mutt has - disturbingly similar to Pencil Face. Except this one flashes a thumbs-up.
I know I can't mention this without seeming like a pervert; but the chew toy has this suspiciousanal-rope:
I can't determine which is stranger. But I definitely know that I want Pencil Face for Christmas.
Morbid and fun. Story is sublime. Graphics are exquisite. Soundtrack is bonified 20s - 30s steampunk. [+]
I don't think I manage to convey in this journal quite how nerdy I am - so as to dispell any/all doubts; my entry on my current lust for Fall Out 3 should do just that.
Fall Out 3 is a captivating RPG (role-playing game) set in hard-times, depicting a world from the after-effect of a Nuclear war. The game has a very steampunk-esque vibe to it, and I decided to make a rebel baby from Vault 101; a female Asian with a thirst for blood & revenge, displaying a well-mannered demeanor despite her exterior being more badass punk oriented.
First a nipple house and now something that resembles sperm-gone-amuck. I think I need to get laid.
Thus far, the above is my favorite one of all the mouse-squiggles I have accomplished (despite the sexually explicit content) - I opted for inky black simplicity (just press the space bar if you want to clear the screen; click once for random color-changes) - I remain uncertain what the deal is with the throbbing red heart ♥ in the corner. Mysterious.
